Pair of Hellenistic Bactrian Gold Hoop Earrings
with lapis ball drops inlaid with white marble centers. Hollow tapering ribbed askos-shaped hoops retain their original earwires wrapped closed at the sides; The colorful contrast of the deep blue lapis and their original white marble inlays against the gold hoops illustrates the rich goldsmithing and lapidary techniques of the culture.
